About me

I’m an experimental electronic musician and an indie game developer, in no particular order. Both technical and artistic sides have always been strong in me. I’ve been a software and game developer for a long time in the past.

Some years ago I started pursuing electronic music. It was not as intentional as one might think from the outside. Through courage, an unusual set of skills and support from some nice people I eventually ended up in Turku Conservatory to study audio engineering and had DAW as my main instrument. I’m eternally grateful that I was able to get in and study there. I love how it’s possible these days to study something like this!

I’m now working on combining my game development background with making music. But I’m also working with music for music’s sake, and for my own sake. I’m not going to sacrifice myself anymore by doing something that’s too much for me. I’ve done that way too many years. I’m a hard worker in a sense, but want to take care of myself and choose by battles wisely, as they say.

Creativity is something that I’m passionate about. I’ve been exploring creativity in many ways. I believe that one can only really understand creativity by making art. It’s about giving up external definitions as much as possible and listening to the often quiet voices we have inside. Then expressing them through ways we feel drawn to, be that painting, playing an instrument, composing or using synthesizers.
